The Sally Challenge
In early 2011 Sally was diagnosed with bowel cancer, after her first successful surgery a second cancer was discovered in the bowel, which only 3% of people get. While Sally was facing a second major operation to take the cancer out of her bowel, the cancer had spread to her liver. She fought every minute until she passed away.
At the first Sally Challenge, Sally started every challenger off and welcomed them all individually at the finish line with a huge smile and a medal.
This year we hope to break through the £100k milestone. Our main charity is The ACCORD Hospice where Sally attended and got a lot of comfort from being around people that truly understood the battle that cancer brings.

Sally lived life to the full and was an inspiration to many that she met. Her courage and determination were two of her great qualities and one thing that she lived her life by was; put other people first. Take on this challenge and put other people first.
